Funny Stuff!

Beck for President

Why can't we get a respectable American with some values to run for president? I'm not going to pretend like I'm all into politics or anything, but I have decided that since the November elections are coming up so fast, I would do my best to make sure I voted for the right person. The only problem is, is that the right person isn't in the running. I ran across an article on cnn.com today that Glenn Beck wrote and I am now one of his biggest fans. Everything he wrote, I agree with 100%. He makes me actually want to get invoved in the huge mess that is our government. I was going to post the acticle but decided that it was probably a bit too long for a post, so here's the link. http://www.cnn.com/2008/US/06/25/beck.conservatives/index.html
Everyone should read this.

Lincoln 2nd ward

So I know these posts without pictures are totally lame but I had to write this because it's so crazy! Our ward is NUTS! It is so young, which is really cool for us because everyone is our age and lots of fun, but it makes the structure of the ward very interesting. We have 2 decans, 1 priest, 2 young women, a couple of kids in Sr. primary, a decent size Jr. primary and THREE nurseries! But the even funnier thing is is that we have 21 kinds scheduled to come into nursery this year and just about every woman in the ward is pregnant! I was talking the Primary pres. Saturday night at our ward party and she told me that they are planning to be up to FIVE nurseries by the end of the year. It's the loudest ward you will ever attend...but it's totally understandable...there are SO MANY little kids! It's awesome. We'll fit right in!

Home Sweet Home

So we're finally here in good ole' Idaho! It's been probably the longest 2 weeks of our lives, but I think after the last load of boxes gets packed in and put away tonight, life will calm down a little.
We both have decided that we love it here...and we're not really sure why (other than it's about 85 outside and 108 in St. Geroge). Given the circumstances; being 8 hrs away from family, pregnant with our first, and living in a house about half the size of our other one, we should probably be miserable..but we're just not! We really like everything about this city. We love fixing up our house (and it needs it!), we really enjoy our jobs, our ward is awesome, and we get to spend crazy amounts of time together! What's not to love?
We don't have the Internet set up at our house yet so I can't post any pictures. I've taken quite a few of the house and some of the falls and other things around town, so as soon as we get the Internet I will get everyone updated with some pics. We'll get right on that....
