We got the bill for Benson's Life Flight yesterday.

It's been really interesting to watch the bills roll in. We've only received a couple so far and we're well over $100,000. We haven't even gotten the bill from the actual surgery yet.
We expected the hospital bills to be outrageous, but we had talked about how we figured the Life Flight bill was probably going to be around $15-20,000. We were WAY off!

Here I am feeling sorry for myself that my total bill is $15,000. It's so stressful to wait for all the bills... You guys have been though a lot with that little guy already. He must be a very special spirit!!! I really hope that you are all doing well! Come visit sometime when your in town!
My sister's bill for her NICU baby was about one third the value of her home she bought. Crazy eh! Thank goodness for insurance.
