Benson is out of surgery and everything went well! The surgeon just came to talk to us, he said that the surgery went well and we should be able to see him shortly. We are so grateful for modern medicine and life saving procedures that are possible. We have felt so much love and support over the past week and it has magnified our blessings, not only are they greater but we notice them more.
We pray for a quick recovery and can't wait to take our little man home.

Oh what a relief to have the surgery done and so glad to hear it went well and you get to see him soon! I have been checking all night for updates and we just keep praying and praying. Give him a big hug and kiss for us!
So great to hear an update, and a good one! I have been checking several times a day. How worrisome, and if I worry this much I can only imagine how you and your family are. such a relief to have such a complex surgery out of the way. this is one tough little guy. look foward to hearing of his progression. you are all still in our prayers. and we are thinking of you often. How long will the recovery be? and do you know about when you will be cleared to take him home? Thanks for updating us all and good luck.
